Dr. Linda M. Porterfield, PHD

Dr. Linda M. Porterfield is a clinical pharmacologist and Director of
Cardiovascular Research at Arrhythmia Consultants, PC. A recognized patient
educator, Dr. Porterfield chairs NASPE's Patient Education Working Group and
is a member of the Continuing Medical Education Committee.

Her unwavering dedication to patient education and care has earned her an Award for
Excellence in Patient Education from Patient Care and a place in Women's
News of the Mid-South's 50 Women Who Make a Difference.

Dr. Porterfield also directs Arrhythmia Consultant's ICD Support Group for
patients with implantable cardiac defibrillators.
